Daniel "Dan" J. Lee is one of the community managers of NoCopyrightSounds and is currently the CEO of the label. He is also one of the hosts of NCS Full Circle.
Background[]
Prior to his career on NCS, Daniel used to play a drum set during school and began producing full songs, which got him into a music production interest. He had also begun to distribute his own music while helping others which kicked off his career as an record label manager and proper music distribution.[1]
NoCopyrightSounds History[]
Daniel initially got his job at NCS after being invited over to Billy Woodford's house for dinner after submitting IZECOLD's track, Close, to the label; Billy confessed his overwhelmed mood over the amount of work he had to do to run NCS and when Daniel asked what he could do to help, he essentially earned himself his full-time job on NCS.[1] He officially joined the NCS team in August 2016 as an A&R and became general manager in July 2019 after Billy Woodford stepped down.[2]
In late 2021, he and Sam Mason began to host a podcast series known as NCS Podcast - Full Circle, which ran until February 2024.[3]

- He is the brother of Charlotte Lee, is another one of the general managers for NCS and works behind the camera on NCS Podcast - Full Circle.
- Before becoming a staff member of NCS, he used to own a record label known as Bearskin Records.[4]
- The first artist that Daniel signed on LabelRadar was ROY KNOX with his track, About Me with Koven.[1]
