Those who say that all of my songs sound the same, I can partially agree with you there, as others say - it's how I roll, that's my style. You won't believe this, but I actually make each of my song from scratch, I don't have any "Tobu template". But by the end of the day it turns out actually sounding very similar to my other songs. I make melodic house music, so yeah, beat is same, style is same, but melodies are different. 99.1% averagely seems to be liking my songs, and that's good enough for me. It's surprisingly high ratio, if I would really start changing all my style, my fans would go away, that's why they are here, to hear this.

Trivia[]

Other[]

  • Tobu's track, Candyland, was featured in the game "Rolling Sky" in the level "Candy".[1]
  • Most of Tobu's 2014-2015 tracks (except for Seven, Hope, Cloud 9 and Infectious), have not been removed from NCS' SoundCloud yet.
  • All of Tobu's releases were labeled as House, except for Turn It Up.
  • His 2014-2015 songs initially did not have the NCS logo on their cover arts and were the very few at the time that did not have the placeholder cover art, but rather Tobu's own cover arts. At an unknown point however, they were added onto the cover arts before they were removed from NCS.
  • Tobu used to have comments on YouTube uploads of his own NCS songs, as well as other songs such as This Time, Rollercoaster, and Dreaming Of Me. However, all of them were deleted shortly before his 2014-2015 songs were removed. He has since not commented on any NCS upload from that point even after returning.
  • Despite being removed, Tobu's videos of his removed NCS songs on his YouTube channel still say "Released by NCS" in the descriptions as well as in the usage rights of the songs on his website, Tobu.io.
